How the recording works
Crodo records through your Mac's microphone. That captures your voice and everything audible around you - including a call coming out of your speakers. If you are wearing headphones, it captures your side only. Crodo does not tap system audio today.
In-person meetings, rooms with more than one person, calls on speaker, lectures, interviews - all the situations where a tool that hooks into a video platform records nothing at all. It also means no bot in your attendee list and no dependence on which app the call happens to be running in.
On a headphones-only remote call, the other side is not picked up. If that is your default setup, put the call on speaker to capture the whole conversation.
